MY WEEKEND, by Erin Keith
-played hookey from working on studio--went to french quarter and did some photography stuff--drank a little
-locked my keys inside my car and engine was still on--first and last time i have done this**knock on wood**
-got some fried calamari togo and went home and watched SNL and 5th element
--i've got to say it's been a great weekend for movies...blade runner, fifth element, batman(the first one)...these were great movies, and if i was ever bored and needed some background noise these were the movies i wanted to listen to...i seriously want to get the soundtrack of 5th element...i forgot how awesome the musical accompanyment was!!
AND on top of all of that my UBER FAVORITE reality tv shows were on this weekend:
america's next top model marathon on vh1--oh so fabulous watching all of these girls freak out over whether they blew a shoot with whomever the designer/photographer...and with cracked out janice dickenson making the greatest comments of all time
kept--jerry hall is the f*cking ulitmate queen bee diva--only jerry hall could have dated my man mick jagger and years later come up with a way of getting 15 hot guys--in some cases much younger than herself-- compete for her attention, then choose the funniest & hottest guy & the guy I personally would have gone with--SETH!! congrads seth...may you spend 90% of the 100,000 on partying all over europe..
i do have to agree with some of the comments i've heard...jerry does kind of look like a drag queen...
best week ever--it melts in your brain...
what can i say...i'm a pop culture fanatic...ok i am but i also currently have no life since ALL of my kids are out of town right now and scattered to the wind--jesse in cali, abby/jenn/stacey in nyc, alexis in AZ, ericka in chi-town, mo in karachi, helen is somewhere in europe between dublin and paris, jessica in bean town, with jon/tania/esther/martin/kendra/micheal garrett/tereasa/ and many others that i can't all name here in DFW...here is my shout out to my international kids, cause i'm pimpin all over the world...new orleans is great but pretty lonely without all of you guys around...but i will be coming back into dfw area around the 27th for a little "party harty marty" before classes start on the 31rst.

OH but i did have a productive if not cool friday night...i FINALLY got one of the books i ordered for thesis research in and i read the whole thing friday night...muy interisante me amigo..."Michigan Debates on Urbanism: Vol 1"... i've got even MORE ideas about how this project could take form...got really excited and hyperactive about it then just crashed and went to bed...3am.
ok i'm a nerd...i deal with it everyday...*tear*
